
Lisa Tatonetti is a settler scholar and a Coffman University Distinguished Teaching Scholar at Kansas State University. She co-founded the K-State Indigenous Faculty and Staff Alliance and its Indigenous Peoples Day symposium, was part of the revival of the Kansas Association of Native American Education (KANAE), and was recently appointed to the new state-level committee on Indigenous education. Tatonetti co-edited Sovereign Erotics: A Collection of Two-Spirit Literature, and is the author of two award-winning books, The Queerness of Native American Literature and Written by the Body: Gender Expansiveness and Indigenous Non-cis Masculinities.
